Cohorted March Beauty Box

Ever since Cohorted launched it has taken over the beauty world, starting with there discounted make up sales every Monday ranging from MAC to Nars to Bare Minerals, every one of us beauty addicts were hooked! So when they started their own Beauty Box, you can imagine how excited we all were, when the first box launched it sold out within hours!! With it being totally stocked up of beauty gems I can certainly understand why.

Last month I got the absolute honour to receive the March box* and I think I'm hooked, with no subscription and a one off payment of £19.99 this beauty box is unlike all the others. Unlike others, you can pre-order the box before the actual launch date, unfortunately due to how amazing the box is, pre-orders are all sold out until July but you can order a box on the launch dates that are on the website here.

An exciting aspect of Beauty Boxes are that the products are a surprise, with previous boxes I've had I've received things I'm not that bothered about trying, however, to date, I've never saw a Cohorted Box that I wouldn't love and March's Box was no different! I was super excited when opening the box, so instead of trying to explain to my boyfriend why it's so amazing and why I was smiling like a crazy lady opening it, I thought I'd share it with my fellow make up obsessed friends!

Did you know, in addition to a box full of goodies Cohorted give you the chance to win extra goodies, 5 out of the 300 March Boxes had the chance of receiving the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette!!! Which I still believe hasn't actually launched in the UK yet! (Correct me if I'm wrong!)

The March Beauty Box* included four products:

Too Faced Exotic Color Eye Shadow - Copper Peony - RRP £15.00
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara - Black (Sample) - RRP £5.00
bareMinerals Pure Transformation Night - Treatment Light - RRP £45.00
Sleek Highlighter Palette for Face & Body - Precious Metals - RRP £9.99

TOTAL = £74.99

So that's £74.99 worth of products for only £19.99!!

The first product that stood out to me was the bareMinerals Pure Transformation Night Treatment as I've never tried anything bareMinerals before, this is designed to target blemishes and pores, when first glancing at this I thought it was going to be a moisturiser. But further inspection revealed it to be a powder skincare product which is something I've never tried before and I'm definitely interested in, the powder is said to replenish skin whilst sleeping to reduce the appearance of pores, even skin tone and give a more radiant younger-looking glow. I'm still yet to try this but will definitely give you an update if you're as intrigued as I am!

Next up is the Too Faced Exotic Color Eye Shadow in Copper Peony, I've only just started trying out some Too Faced products so I was especially excited to receive this as I've been eying up their Chocolate Bar palette so trying a single eyeshadow was right up my street! It's a gorgeous copper shade (hence the name) and I can't wait to try it, when swatched it looked extremely pigmented and quite foily.

The Urban Decay Perversion Mascara has been highly raved about and has not long launched, I never got round to picking one up to try as I'm on a mascara buying ban at the moment so I'm looking forward to trying it out, I couldn't live without mascara!

And lastly, the Sleek Highlighter Palette for Face & Body in Precious Metals is something that I haven't saw any reviews on or even knew existed, I love these kind of products as you can truly make a first impression on it. Inside there are 4 creamy highlighters that are all extremely pigmented, Sleek is an amazing brand and this product definitely carries on their good name, I can't wait to try these after swatching, come to mamma!

Overall I'm ridiculously over the moon with this box (can you tell?) it's everything I've ever wanted from a beauty box and more and I'd highly recommend it over the likes of Glossybox (Sorry Glossybox!). Head over to the Cohorted site now as there are some MAC and bareMinerals products on discount and check out the dates and times of the beauty box launches, I'll definitely be ordering some myself!

Have you had a Cohorted Beauty Box before? What did you think?

Remember, honesty is key.
